Pumpkin Butter 8 Cups Recipe

  • 6 cups mashed pumpkin (canned or fresh)
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 1 pound sugar
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/2 teaspoon cloves
Mix all ingredients in a large saucepan. Cook and stir over low heat until thick. Put into hot sterile jars seal. Spices may be adjusted to taste. Yields 8 1/2 pts
