Rhubarb Dessert 38 Recipe

Ingredients
  • 4 cups Rhubarb, Chopped
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 3 tablespoons Butter
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1/2 cup Milk
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup boiling water
Directions
Put rhubarb in an 8" x 8" pan. In a bowl, cream 3/4 cup sugar and butter. Add milk, flour, baking powder and salt. Mix well and pour over rhubarb. In another bowl, combine 1 cup sugar and cornstarch. Sprinkle over batter. Pour boiling water over all. Bake at 350° for 1 hour.
