Triple Chocolate Cherry Bars 2 Recipe

  • 1 box Devils Food cake mix (18.25 ounce box)
  • 1 can cherry pie filling (21 ounce can)
  • 2 Eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup Mini Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
  • 1 container Betty Crocker whipped chocolate frosting
Heat oven to 350° (325° for dark or nonstick pan). Grease a 15"x10"x1" or 9"x13" pan. In a large bowl, gently mix dry cake mix, pie filling, eggs and chocolate chips with a rubber scraper; break up any undissolved mix by pressing with scraper. Carefully spread in pan. Bake the 15"x10' pan for 25 to 30 minutes or the 9"x13" pan for 35 to 40 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool completely for about 1 hour. Frost.
