Mexican Wedding Cakes 10 Recipe

  • 1/2 pound softened butter
  • 4 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • 2 cups sifted flour
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chopped nuts (pecans)
Cream butter and powdered sugar. Add flour, vanilla and nuts. Shape with fingers 2" long and about 1/2" wide. Bake on SLOW oven 300° until golden brown, about 10-15 minutes. Remove and roll in powdered sugar immediately.
