Banana Cream Pie 23 Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 - 9 inch baked pastry shell
  • 3 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1 2/3 cups water
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk (14 ounce can)
  • 3 egg yolks, beaten
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 or 3 bananas
  • Whipped Cream
Directions
In a saucepan, dissolve cornstarch in water; stir in sweetened condensed milk and egg yolks. Cook and stir until thickened and bubbly. Remove from heat: add butter and vanilla. Cool slightly. Slice bananas into prepared pie crust. Pour filling over bananas: cover. Chill for 4 hours or until set. Spread top with whipped cream. Refrigerate leftovers.
