Bread Pudding 84 Recipe

Ingredients
  • 3 Eggs
  • 3 cans evaporated milk (12 ounce cans)
  • 1 1/4 cups w. sugar
  • 1/4 cup melted butter or margarine
  • 1/2 cup raisins
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 loaf bread, cubed (1 pound loaf)
Directions
In a large bowl beat eggs. Add milk, sugar, butter, raisins, cinnamon, vanilla, and salt; mix well. Add bread cubes; stir gently. Pour into a greased 9x13 in baking dish. Bake at 325° for 50-60 minutes or until knife inserted near the center comes out clean. Serve warm or cold. Store in the refrigerator. Serves: 12-16
