APPLE CAKE 94 Recipe

Ingredients
  • CAKE MIX
  • 3 cups flour
  • 1 cup oil
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/3 cup orange juice
  • 2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 2 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • Apple mixture
  • 3 apples, sliced
  • 5 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
Directions
Sift together flour and baking powder. Mix all cake mix ingredients together in a large bowl. Grease and flour tube pan. Mix sugar and cinnamon together, and sprinkle apples. Pour 1/3 of batter in pan, top with 1/3 of apple mixture. Repeat 2 more times. Bake @ 350° for 1 1/2 to 1 3/4 hours.
