Honey Bun Cake Recipe

Sweet swirl of cinnamon in the middle of this cake. Topped off with a sweet sugar glaze and you have a coffee cake fit for guests.

Ingredients
  • 1 package yellow cake mix
  • 8 ounces sour cream
  • 2/3 cup oil
  • 4 eggs
  • FILLING:
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 3 teaspoons cinnamon
  • GLAZE:
  • 3 cups powdered sugar
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
Container: 9x13
Directions
Mix cake ingredients in mixer and pour 1/2 batter in 9x13 pan sprayed with Pam.

In a small bowl combine filling ingredients, brown sugar and cinnmon. Top cake with filling and pour or spread remaining batter over top.

Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.

Poke holes in cake and pour glaze over top while cake is still hot.
