Chocolate Cake 73 Recipe

  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1/2 cup cocoa
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup buttermilk
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 cup hot coffee
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
Mix all ingredients together and bake in two 8" round cake pans. Allow to cool in pan for 5 minutes on wire rack. Remove from pans and cool completely. Cut each cake into two layers. Frost with peanut butter frosting.
