CHOCOLATE CHOCOLATE BROWNIES Recipe

Ingredients
  • 3/4 cup unsifted flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/3 cup butter
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1 package chocolate morsels (12 ounce pkg)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts
Directions
In a small bowl combine flour, soda, and salt; set aside. In a large bowl combine water, sugar and butter. Microwave on High for 1 minute, until butter melts and sugar dissolves. Add 1 cup of chocolate morsels and the vanilla. Stir until melted and smooth. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Gradually blend in flour mixture, and then add nuts and remaining morsels. Spread in a greased 9" pan and bake at 325° for 35 minutes. Cool completely and cut into 16 squares.
