Apple Pudding Cake 5 Recipe

Ingredients
  • Cake
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 Eggs
  • 4 golden apples, peeled and grated (large)
  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 teaspoons Baking Soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon nutmeg (or more)
  • 1 cup nuts, if desired
  • Sauce
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1/2 cup evaporated milk
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 2 teaspoons or more, cinnamon
Directions
Cake: cream butter and sugar. Add eggs. Beat well. Add apples. Mix. Add dry ingredients, mixing well between each. Bake at 350°, greased and floured 9x13" pan, 35 - 40 minutes. Pour sauce* over cake IMMEDIATELY AFTER TAKING OUT OF OVEN. Cool.

Sauce: heat all ingredients together. Do not boil. Pour over cake immediately after removing it from the oven.
