Boiled Custard 13 Recipe

Ingredients
  • 4 eggs
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 quart whole milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
Directions
Beat eggs, add sugar and milk. Cook in double boiler until custard coats the spoon. Pour through a strainer into a bowl then add vanilla. Cool slightly and put in refrigerator for several hours for custard to thicken. Serve with whipped cream and top with cherry. Makes a beautiful dessert!
