Chocolate Toffee Bars 5 Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 3/4 cups flour
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cup cold margarine
  • 1 can sweetened, condensed milk (14 ounce can)
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 6 Heath bars, cut into small pieces
  • 1 cup chopped nuts (optional)
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. (325 degrees if using glass pan).

Combine flour, sugar and margarine. Press into bottom of 9X13 pan.

Bake for 15 minutes.

In medium bowl, combine milk, egg, and vanilla. Mix well. Spread evenly over crust.

Top with toffee bits and nuts.

Bake for 20-25 minutes, until bubbly.

Cool. Cut into bars. Store in refrigerator.
