Tomato Pesto Pasta Salad Recipe

Pasta salad with pesto and tomatoes is a colorful side dish for a barbecue, potluck or picnic.

  • 1 package McCormick® Pesto Sauce Mix
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 3 tablespoons oil
  • 8 ounces penne or rotini pasta, cooked and drained
  • 1 cup halved cherry tomatoes or 1/2 cup sun-dried tomatoes, cut into thin strips
  • 4 teaspoons white wine vinegar
  • 1/4 cup shredded Parmesan cheese

1. Stir Sauce Mix, water and oil in small saucepan until well blended. Cook on medium heat 1 minute or until heated through, stirring occasionally. Cool slightly.

2. Toss pasta with pesto sauce in serving bowl. Add tomatoes, vinegar and Parmesan cheese; toss to coat well. Cover.

3. Refrigerate at least 1 hour or until ready to serve.
