Dessert Mice Recipe

Ingredients
  • Maraschino cherries with stems
  • Sliced Almonds
  • Almond bark chocolate
  • Hersheys kisses
  • 1 tube red gel icing (Small tube)
Directions
Drain, rinse and dry cherries. Unwrap kisses. Melt almond bark in microwave. Holding stem, dip cherry into melted chocolate bark. Working quickly, place the bottom of the kiss to the round of the cherry opposite the stem (the cherry is the body of the mouse with the stem making the tail, the kiss makes the face with the point of the kiss making a perfect pointed nose.)

Place 2 almond slices between the kiss and cherry while the chocolate is still soft to form ears. Place on paper plates or wax paper to set. Use gel icing to dot eyes and the end of the nose. Kids love these and they are really easy and fun to make for your child's class at school for almost any holiday.
