Chocolate Chip Chocolate Cake Recipe

Preheat oven to 350. Put dates in boiling water; let soak and cool. After cool add baking soda, set aside. In another bowl cream butter. Add sugar, cocoa, eggs to creamed butter. Beat for a long time. Add date mixture and flour. Pour into a 13x9 inch greased pan. Sprinkle top with chocolate chips and nuts. Bake at 350 for 30 to 35 minutes. Dust with confectioners sugar. Serves 10 to 12.
