No Bake Rice Pudding Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 cup freshly cooked long-grain white rice
  • 5 cups milk
  • 1 can evaporated or condensed milk
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1 cup raisins
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 pinch nutmeg
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
Directions
In a pot, stir together rice, milk, salt, sugar, raisins, nutmeg and cinnamon. Cook, stirring occasionally, over low heat, add more fluids as needed. Let set for an hour so all flavors can blend. Serve hot or cold.
