Baked Apple Slices 2 Recipe

  • 5 cups sliced, peeled apples
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon grated lemon peel
  • 1/2 cup sorghum
  • 1/8 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
Arrange apples in baking dish with a tight cover. Mix remaining ingredients, except graham cracker and butter, and pour over apples. Combine graham cracker crumbs and melted butter; sprinkle over the top. Cover with tight lid and bake about 40 minutes at 325°.
