Chicken Tacos Recipe

Turn ordinary chicken into a fiesta of flavor with McCormick® Chicken Taco Seasoning Mix.

  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 1 pound boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1/2-inch cubes or strips
  • 1 package McCormick® Chicken Taco Seasoning Mix
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 12 taco shells or flour tortillas (6-inch)
  • Assorted toppings, such as shredded lettuce, chopped tomatoes, shredded cheese, salsa or guacamole

  1. Heat oil in large skillet on medium heat. Add chicken; cook and stir 3 to 5 minutes or until no longer pink.
  2. Stir in in Seasoning Mix and water.
  3. Bring to boil. Reduce heat to low; simmer 5 to 7 minutes or until most of liquid is absorbed, stirring occasionally. Spoon into warm taco shells. Serve with desired toppings.

Pork Tacos: Prepare as directed using 1 pound boneless pork chops, cut into 1/2-inch cubes or strips.
