Payday Cookie Bars Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1 egg
  • 3 cups mini marshmallows
  • 2/3 cup white corn syrup
  • 1 package peanut butter chips (12 oz pkg)
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 2 cups salted peanuts
  • 2 cups Rice Crispies
Directions
Mix cake mix, egg, butter. Press into bottom of 9 x 13 cake pan. Bake at 350° for 12-18 minutes. Spread marshmallows on top and return to oven for 3-5 minutes. Cool Completely. In saucepan, cook corn syrup, peanut butter chips, and butter until smooth. Add peanuts and cereal to mixture until well blended. Spread over cake & Marshmallow and cool.
