Graham Cracker Torte Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup graham cracker crumbs, coarse
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 cup Dates, chopped
  • 1/2 cup nuts, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 egg whites
  • 1/2 cup sugar
Directions
Mix together first six ingredients. Beat egg whites until stiff; add sugar gradually. Fold mixture into whites; blend well. Pour into greased 8" pie plate. Bake at 325° for 35 minutes. Serve with ice cream or whipped topping.
