AUSTRALIAN APPLE PIE Recipe

Ingredients
  • 6 apples (peeled & sliced)
  • 1 teaspoon lemon peel (grated)
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1 clove ground) (1/8 teaspoon cloves)
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon (ground)
Directions
Mix well and pour into pie shell.

TOPPING:

1/4 c. sugar

1/2 c. all-purpose flour

1/2 c. cheddar cheese (grated)

1/4 c. butter (melted)

Mix well & pour over ingredients in pie shell. Bake at 400° for 40-45 minutes until brown.
