Caramel Frosting 2 Recipe

  • 1 butter
  • 1 Brown Sugar
  • 1/4 evaporated milk
  • 2 powdered sugar, sifted
  • 1 vanilla
Place the butter and sugar in medium heavy pan, cook over medium heat. Stir and cook until mixture comes to a boil, about 2 minutes. Add milk and stir and bring back to boil. Remove pan from heat, add powdered sugar and vanilla, beat until frosting is smooth. Frost cake while it is still warm as it will harden. If it does, simply put pan back on low heat and stir until it softens.
