Ingredients
  • 8 ounces wagon wheel pasta
  • 8 ounces Italian sausage
  • 1 teaspoon McCormick® Onions, Minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon McCormick® Basil Leaves
  • 1/2 teaspoon McCormick® Oregano Leaves
  • 1/4 teaspoon McCormick® Black Pepper, Ground
  • 1 jar (24 ounces) spaghetti sauce
  • 1 package (8 ounces) mozzarella cheese, cut into thin slices

1. Preheat oven to 400°F. Cook pasta as directed on package. Drain well.

2. Meanwhile, break up Italian sausage in large skillet. Cook on medium heat 5 minutes or until cooked through. Drain fat.

3. Mix sausage, spaghetti sauce, onions, basil, oregano and pepper in 9-inch deep-dish pie plate or 2 1/2-quart casserole. Add pasta; mix well. Cover top with mozzarella slices.

4. Bake 15 to 20 minutes or until cheese is melted and mixture is heated through.

Pepperoni Pizza Pot Pie: Prepare as directed, substituting 8 ounces pepperoni, cut into slices or chunks, for Italian sausage.
