No Icing Chocolate Chip Cake Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 cup dates
  • 1 cup + 3 tablespoon hot water (pour over dates and let stand)
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 2 sticks butter
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup Pecans
Directions
Put 1/2 the chocolate chips in batter and the other 1/2 chocolate chips and pecans on top before baking. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
