PUNCH BOWL CAKE 9 Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 box yellow cake mix or angel food cake
  • 2 packages vanilla instant pudding (large pkgs)
  • 3 bananas (large)
  • 1 can crushed pineapples (optional) (8 ounce can)
  • 2 cans cherry pie filling (15 ounce cans)
  • 1 carton Cool Whip and 1 small carton Cool Whip (large carton)
  • 1 jar stemmed cherries
Directions
Bake cake as directed. In separate bowl, make pudding as directed. Put 1/2 of contents in punch bowl in following order: crumbled cake (or angel food cake), pudding, chopped bananas, crushed pineapples (drained), cherry pie filling, and Cool Whip. Repeat process in same order and top with stemmed cherries. Keep refrigerated until ready to serve. Serves about 30 people or 3 preachers.
