Italian Sausage Pasta Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 links Premio Hot Italian Sausage
  • 3 links Premio Mild Italian Sausage
  • 1 cup thinly sliced onions
  • 1/4 cup thinly sliced red bell pepper
  • 1/4 cup thinly sliced yellow bell pepper
  • 1/4 cup sliced Spanish olives
  • 1/4 cup finely diced summer squash
  • 1 large can crushed tomatoes
  • 1 medium can tomato sauce
  • 1 small can tomato paste
  • 1 tablespoon chopped garlic
  • 1 teaspoon dry oregano
  • 2 teaspoons dry basil
  • 1 teaspoon dry marjoram
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • 1 pound angel hair pasta
Directions
  • Cut sausages into bite sized pieces and place in a large sauce pan over medium high heat.
  • When sausage starts to brown add veggies.
  • After sausage is browned and the onions are clear, add the tomato paste.
  • When well mixed add the crushed tomatoes and the tomato sauce; drop heat down to medium low.
  • When well blended add the spices and salt to taste.
  • In another large pot filled with water, add salt and olive oil; bring to a boil.
  • Add pasta and cook to desired doneness.
  • Strain pasta and turn off the sauce.
  • Spoon sauce over pasta and enjoy.
