Mexican Spaghetti Recipe

  • Cooking spray
  • 1 pound Premio Chorizo Sausage, sliced
  • 2 teaspoons chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground pepper
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth
  • 1 6 oz. can tomato paste
  • 1 cup reduced fat shredded cheddar
  • 16 ounces spaghetti - cooked
  • 1/2 cup salsa

  • Heat large skillet over medium-high heat. Coat pan with cooking spray. Add sausage, cook five minutes, or until browned.
  • Stir in chili powder, cumin, salt and pepper. Cook 1 minute, stirring often.
  • Stir in broth and tomato paste. Cook 2 minutes, until thickens.
  • Prepare spaghetti according to package directions. Mix with sauce and serve.
