Grandma's Cheesecake 2 Recipe

  • 24 graham crackers
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1/3 cup butter
  • 2 packages cream cheese, softened (1 lb pkgs) (large pkgs)
  • 2 eggs (Large)
  • 2 teaspoons Vanilla
  • 1 pint sour Cream
  • 1 pie pan
CRUST: use graham crackers, 1/4 cup of the sugar and the butter. Mash fine, mix and line pie pan. DO THIS FIRST, FILLING: use the cream cheese, 1/2 C. of the sugar, the eggs and 1 tsp. of the vanilla. Beat until nice and smooth. Pour into unbaked crust. Bake for 20 min. at 350°. Cool 15 min. While waiting, prepare topping. TOPPING: Use the sour cream, 1/4 C. of the sugar and 1 tsp. of the vanilla. Spread on top of the cheesecake and bake for 5 min. at 450°. cool for one hour. Chill for 12 hours.
