Raspberry Dessert Recipe

A layered dessert that has that sweet and salty combination that everyone loves. The crust is crushed pretzels with sugar and butter. This is topped with a cream cheese layer. Then raspberries and jello top that off. Delicious! Perfect any time of year.

Ingredients
  • CRUST:
  • 1 3/4 cups pretzels, crushed
  • 3/4 cup butter, melted
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • CREAM CHEESE LAYER:
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 8 ounces whipped topping, thawed
  • JELLO LAYER:
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 package raspberry Jello (6 ounce pkg)
  • 2 packages frozen raspberries (10 oz pkgs)

Mix together pretzels, melted butter and sugar. Press evenly in pan and bake at 350° for 10 minutes; let cool.

Mix cream cheese and sugar. Fold in whipped topping, and stir until sugar is dissolved.

Spread cream cheese mixture over cooled pretzel crust.

Boil water and mix with jello. Do not add cold water. Add frozen raspberries to jello. Let cool a bit and pour over cream cheese layer.

Refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
