Simple Banana Bars Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups bananas, mashed (about 3)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 pinch salt

Cream butter and sugar.

Beat in eggs and mashed banana.

Mix in the flour, baking soda and salt.

Put into a greased 10x15" jelly roll pan. Bake at 350° for 15-20 minutes or until done; cool.

Frost, if desired.

You won't even need to look for a frosting recipe as its not even needed for these simple and delicious banana bars. These bars freeze well and are a great after school snack for the kids.
