Bread Pudding with Hard Sauce Recipe

Ingredients
  • 16 slices bread
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1 quart milk
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • HARD SAUCE:
  • 1 cup confectioners sugar
  • 3 tablespoons water
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
Directions
Break bread in 9x13 pan.

Mix all ingredients and pour over bread.

Sprinkle cinnamon and sugar on pudding.

Place pan in a larger pan with about 1 inch of water and bake at 350 about 40 minutes until done.

Serve with hard sauce.

For Hard Sauce, mix together all ingredients and pour over bread pudding.
