Lemon Pound Cake 3 Recipe

Ingredients
  • 5 eggs
  • 3 cups sugar
  • 1/2 cup shortening
  • 1/2 pound margarine
  • 3 teaspoons lemon extract
  • 3 cups all purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • pinch salt
  • 1 cup milk
Directions
In a large bowl combine eggs, sugar, shortening, margarine, and lemon extract. Beat together for 4 to 5 minutes. Add flour, baking powder, salt and milk. Beat well. Bake in greased and floured tube pan at 350° until done.
