Ingredients
  • 1 package yellow cake mix
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 2/3 brown sugar
  • 1 can apple pie filling
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup pecans - finely chopped

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Butter and flour 9x13 pan.
  • In a large bowl, combine cake mix as directed on box replacing the water with the apple pie filling. Beat with a electric mixer as directed on the box. Pour into prepared pan.
  • For topping, combine brown sugar, butter, flour, cinnamon and nuts. Sprinkle on top of cake.
  • Bake for 40 minutes.
  • Serve with whipped topping.
