Bread Pudding 11 Recipe

Ingredients
  • 4 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup Margarine
  • 4 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 12 cups dried bread cubes (8 slices of bread - I use fresh)
  • 1 1/2 cups raisins (optional)
Directions
Heat milk & margarine over medium heat until hot. Mix eggs, sugar, cinnamon & salt in a 4qt. bowl. Stir in bread & raisins. Stir in milk mixture. Pour into ungreased 1 1/2qt. casserole. Place casserole in pan on oven rack. Pour very hot water into pan until 1" deep. Bake uncovered 40-50 minutes or until knife inserted 1" from edge comes out clean. Serve warm.

8 servings, 200 calories each.
