Pepper Steak Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 teaspoons minced garlic
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons ground ginger
  • 1 1/2 pounds stew beef or round steak cut into cubes
  • 1 large onion diced
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1 red bell pepper - julienned
  • 1 green pepper - julienned
  • 1 large tomato wedged
Container: Wok or skillet
Directions
  • Put olive oil, soy sauce, garlic and ginger in skillet or wok and heat through.
  • Add meat and onion; cook until browned.
  • Add 3/4 cup of water to cornstarch and add to the meat mixture to make gravy.
  • Thicken and add the peppers and tomatoes.
  • This is great served over rice.
