Pumpkin Bars 47 Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 cups pumpkin
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons soda
  • 1 cup chopped nuts (optional)
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
Directions
Mix everything together for 3 minutes and pour into greased and floured jelly roll pan. Bake at 325° for 35-40 minutes.

*NOTE - 1/2 batch will make a 9x13 pan.

Topping:

3 3/4 C. powdered sugar

1 stick butter of oleo

8 oz. softened cream cheese

1 tsp. vanilla

Mix together until smooth and creamy. Frost bars.

* NOTE - You can use purchased cream cheese frosting. (1 container for 9x13 pan or 2 containers for jelly roll pan).
