Grandma's Dishpan Cookies Recipe

  • 2 cups brown sugar
  • 2 cups white sugar
  • 2 cups oil
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 4 cups flour
  • 2 teaspoons Baking Soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 cups oatmeal
  • 2 cups coconut
  • 4 cups uncrushed corn flakes
  • 1 cup raisins
  • 1 cup nuts
In large bowl, cream together sugars, oil, eggs, and vanilla. Sift and mix in baking soda, flour and salt. Add oatmeal. Mix. Fold in coconut, cornflakes, raisins and nuts. Drop by spoonfuls on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 for 10-12 minutes. These are very chewy and crispy.
