Butterscotch Cookies 10 Recipe

  • 2 1/4 all purpose flour
  • 1 baking soda
  • 1 Salt
  • 1 buttered flavored Crisco
  • 3/4 sugar
  • 3/4 firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1 vanilla extract
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 butterscotch chips (12 oz pkg)
  • 1 chopped nuts (optional)
Preheat oven 375°. In small bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside. Use mixer to combine Crisco, sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla. Beat until creamy. Beat in eggs. Gradually add flour mixture; mix well. Stir in chips and nuts. Drop into tsp-sized balls (or larger) onto greased cookie sheets. Cook 8-10 minutes. Makes 100 cookies.
