Italian Chicken over Pasta Recipe

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup stewed tomatoes
  • 1 cup mushrooms
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon corn starch
  • 1/2 cup water
  • pasta noodles
  • Cook 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts and set aside.
  • Sauté stewed tomatoes and mushrooms.
  • Add dried basil and garlic powder. Bring to a boil.
  • Combine corn starch and water; add to tomato mixture.
  • Cook until thickened.
  • To serve, place the chicken breast on top of pasta noodles and pour sauce over the top.
