Homemade Beef Stroganoff Recipe

  • 1 pound hamburger
  • Chopped onion
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 can cream mushroom soup
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 8 ounces sour cream
  • White Wine
  • Egg noodles
Container: Medium skillet
  • Brown hamburger with onion, salt, pepper, and garlic powder; drain.
  • Add cream of mushroom soup, butter, and sour cream. Mix well and heat on low. Be careful not to burn.
  • Just before serving, add approx 1/4 cup of white wine.
  • Serve over cooked egg noodles. Great if you make breadsticks to go with meal.
