Ingredients
1 bar "German Sweet Chocolate" (baking chocolate)
1/4 pound Butter
1 egg
1 cup powdered sugar
1 - 10 ounce package colored mini marshmallows
nuts, if desired
coconut
Directions
In a double boiler, melt butter and chocolate together. (Or in the microwave - be careful not to burn it! Break the chocolate into chunks and slice the butter up a bit. Only melt it part way, about 30 seconds at a time, stirring well between times. Stop microwaving it when it's still partially "formed" and just stir it until it melts the rest of the way.) Cool slightly. Add the egg and powdered sugar and beat well. Add the marshmallows and nuts, if desired. Mix. On waxed paper, form spoonfuls of the mixture into tightly compacted "logs". Roll in coconut. Wrap them up in the waxed paper. Chill and slice. Store in the refrigerator.
