Cheesy Hash Browns Recipe

  • 1/2 cup margarine, melted
  • 1 package hash browns
  • 1 can cream soup (your choice: mushroom, chicken, etc.)
  • 8 ounces sour cream
  • 8 ounces shredded Colby Jack cheese
  • 1 cup Wheaties® cereal, crushed
Container: 9x13-inch baking pan

  • Spread the melted margarine on the bottom of a 9x13-inch baking pan.
  • In a large bowl, combine the hash browns, soup, sour cream, and cheese; then spread this mixture in the baking pan.
  • Cover with the crushed Wheaties®.
  • Bake covered at 350ºF for 45 minutes; then bake uncovered for an additional 15 minutes.

    Note: Top the layer of crushed Wheaties® cereal with additional shredded cheese if you desire.
