CANDIED WALNUTS 8 Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar,firmly packed
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 1/2 cups whole walnut halves
Directions
Combine brown sugar, granulated sugar and sour cream in a saucepan; cook to soft ball stage; cool to lukewarm.

Stir in vanilla.

Stir in nuts until all are well coated; dump out onto aluminum foil, breaking nuts apart. Cool.
