Hot Fudge Topping for Ice Cream Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1/3 cup cocoa
  • 1 dash salt
  • 1 cup hot water
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 tablespoons margarine

  • In a saucepan, combine the first 5 ingredients and cook over medium heat for 5 minutes. Stir constantly.
  • When the sauce thickens, remove the pan from the stove and add the vanilla and margarine.
  • Allow the chocolate topping to cool; then refrigerate.
