Creamy Slow Cooker Beef Stroganoff Recipe

Sour cream adds a creaminess to this slow cooked rich beef stroganoff with mushrooms.

  • 1 pound beef stew meat
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion (optional)
  • 2 cans condensed cream of golden mushroom soup (10 3/4 oz. cans)
  • 1 small can sliced mushrooms, drained
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 1/2 cups hot cooked noodles or rice

  • In a crock pot, mix the beef, onion, soup, mushrooms, and black pepper.
  • Cover and cook on low 8-10 hours or until beef is very tender.
  • Prior to serving, stir in the sour cream. Serve over hot cooked noodles or rice.
