Crock Pot Roast Beef Recipe

  • 4 pounds beef roast
  • 1 can beef broth
  • 1 can beef consomme soup
  • 1 can French onion condensed soup
  • 1 large white onion
  • 1 teaspoon beef bouillon granules
  • salt and pepper to taste (optional)
Container: 6-quart slow cooker
6+ hrs
  • Season the beef roast with salt and pepper (optional); then place it in the crock pot.
  • Add to the crock pot the beef broth, beef consomm√© soup, French onion soup, and bouillon granules.
  • Slice the onion; then place the slices on top of roast.
  • Cover and cook on the low heat setting for 6 to 8 hours, or until the roast pulls apart easily.
