Crock Pot Hash Brown Breakfast Casserole Recipe

  • 2 pounds frozen hash browns
  • 1 pint sour cream
  • 2 cups grated cheddar cheese
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups meat, such as diced ham or chopped sausage (optional)
Container: 6-quart slow cooker
6+ hrs
  • Mix all of the ingredients in a large bowl.
  • Pour the mixture into the crock pot, cover, and turn the heat setting to low.
  • Allow it to cook overnight (8 to 10 hours), and it will be ready to serve at breakfast time.
