Peanut Butter Finger Bars Recipe

Whatever you call these bars, scotcheroos, peanut butter bars, these are loved by one and all. Corn flakes stay extra crisp with the peanut butter sauce that is poured over them.

  • 2/3 white sugar
  • 2/3 white corn syrup
  • 1 crunchy-style peanut butter (16 oz. jar)
  • 3 corn flakes
  • 2 milk chocolate chips
Container: 9x13-inch pan
  • In a saucepan, heat the sugar and corn syrup until boiling; then add the peanut butter and reduce the heat. Stir until well blended.
  • Pour over the corn flakes. Coat the cereal well; then press into a 9x13-inch pan.
  • Melt the chocolate chips (on the stovetop or in the microwave) and spread over the peanut butter and corn flakes layer.
  • Chill for 20-25 minutes; then cut into squares and serve.
