Honey Granola Crunch Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 cup nuts (optional)
  • 4 cups quick or old fashioned oats
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/3 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup honey
Directions

  • Preheat the oven to 375ºF.
  • In the baking pan or roaster, mix the nuts, oats, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt.
  • In a small bowl, melt the butter and mix in the honey. Pour this mixture over the ingredients in the pan and stir.
  • Bake 25 - 30 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes.

    Note: This crunchy mixture makes a great snack; or use it as a topping for yogurt or ice cream.
